Mary Road is a short dead-end street in North Billerica off Sheldon Street, ending in a turnaround. It was laid out on the "Definitive Subdivision Plan of O'Mahony Park, Billerica, Mass.," owned by Edward V. O'Mahony and drawn on November 3, 1967 by the K. J. Miller Company, civil engineers and land surveyors, of 106 West Street, Wilmington. After a hearing on March 19, 1968 the Planning Board approved it on April 9, 1968, and it was recorded on May 29, 1968 (Plan Book 107, Plan 9). The plan shows Mary Road 40 feet wide and about 480 feet long, with six lots of 30,000 to 32,500 square feet and a drainage and sewer easement across the back lots, on land bordered by the Oakvale subdivision of Quality Homes, Inc., whose Theresa Avenue touches the southern corner. Edward V. and Virginia B. O'Mahony sold the lots in 1969, and the houses date from 1968 and 1969.
The origin of the name Mary was not found; it is not the name of either owner. No vote accepting Mary Road as a public way was found in the town reports. The street was repaved in 2018.
